Remember to Forget

We’ve spent a good amount of time

contemplating those things

that didn’t really need contemplation,

making plans for the big picture

with chisel and sedimentary stone,

we remembered to worry

when times got rough

while we forgot what we had

while we had it.

Shall we indeed accept good from God,

shall we not accept adversity?

We’ve worried so long

and forgot so much,

we ought to just turn those tables:

we ought to remember

to forget our worries
