The sky was just that–
nothing fancy, nothing worth looking at
in this monochromatic stroll
where blue was blue
and the others were too
you made me see the hues
of blues and reds and yellows too,
turquoise shades marrying
Tiffany skies,
dark burning brighter
like embers
from royal pillars
to powder dreams
dreams never lost in kaleidoscopic
whirling and twirling,
black and white no more,
just yellows and reds together
with blues and
you
Wow!!!

I’ll add another “wow”. I like the flow in the mood of this poem. It rests lightly upon the mind, but soaks in deep.

I’m wowed by the “wows”, thank you! I appreciate that assessment too; it’s more poetic than the poem itself.
