Six Strings in the Morning

Strum, strum, strum, strum,

hear the music play

hum, hum, hum hum

all the live-long day

strum, strum, hum, hum,

see the creatures rise

strum, hum, strum, hum

before my very eyes

strum, strum, strum, strum,

it’s strange to see it

strum, strum, strum strum,

lonely to be it

hum, hum, hum, hum,

her heart was broken

hum, hum, hum, hum,

and by that token

I sing all night these

lonely words

and at dawn’s light wake

up the birds

Hummm

Humm

Hum

Hum
