Dull and Pointless (a tale in haikus)

I used to watch him

trip on and over his own

lofty ambitions

* * * * *

Under the cloak and

with his metaphorical

dagger, he did kill

* * * * *

Eventually

he tripped and fell onto one;

both sharp once, now dull

* * * * *

The earth is raised where

he lies in repose. Most just

walk around the bump
